Rugby for all ages, Rugby for life!

The Buffalo Rookie Rugby Programs prepare kids (ages 5 thru 14) for a High School Rugby Program near you.  We begin each season in the Buffalo Bills' Fieldhouse.  When the weather turns we take it outside to the turf, to the grass and to the mud.  Boys and Girls from acrossed WNY converge at the home of the Buffalo Bills beginning in February to begin Rugby for Life.

The Youth of Western New York now have the opportunity to learn and play the game of RUGBY.

From Flag Rugby (non-contact version of the game) for Boys and Girls grade K through 8, to Modified Rugby for 6th, 7th & 8th graders (controlled contact) that teach the game and develop their skill set and knowledge of the game to prepare them for high school rugby.

Thanks in part to the return of Rugby to the Olympic Games in 2016, there are now more people playing Rugby worldwide than all but one other sport. The kids will start with the basics and learn the game of SEVENS, the 2016 Olympic version of the game. They will graduate to the learn the game of 15s, the popular high school version of the game and the version of the game that was played in the Olympics in the 1920s.  USA Eagles are the two-time defending Olympic Gold Medalists.
